Rooted Together is more than a curriculum, it’s a sacred rhythm of becoming. This yearlong journey invites believers to grow from the inside out, grounded in five core discipleship convictions that shape identity, community, and mission.

Built on five core discipleship convictions:
Rooted Together begins with identity, because discipleship is first about being, not doing. Before any activity, believers are invited to rest in their belovedness; chosen, redeemed, and delighted in by Christ.
The Word is not supplemental, it is the soil. It shapes, convicts, and nourishes, offering deep growth in a world of spiritual shortcuts.
1. Identity before activity
“You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased.” — Mark 1:11 (NIV)
This foundation protects against performance-driven faith and mirrors Jesus’ own journey: affirmed by the Father before any public ministry. From this place of secure identity, formation unfolds, not through trends or opinions, but through Scripture.
2. Formation through Scripture
“Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.” — John 17:17 (NIV)
The Word is not an accessory, it’s the soil. Every teaching, reflection, and practice is rooted in Scripture’s transformative power. We resist spiritual shortcuts and root our growth in the timeless truth of God’s Word.
3. Community is non-negotiable
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” — Hebrews 10:24 (NIV)
Growth is mutual. We cultivate spaces of belonging, accountability, and shared formation. Discipleship happens in circles, not just rows; in living rooms, prayer calls, and shared meals.
4. Everyone is sent
“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” — John 20:21 (NIV)
Purpose is personal. Every disciple is commissioned, whether in the marketplace, classroom, home, or ministry. We equip believers to live missionally in their everyday context.
5. Grace builds slow, deep things
“Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete.” — James 1:4 (NIV)
We resist urgency culture. Discipleship is a slow, sacred work that builds legacy, not just momentum. We trust The Holy Spirit’s pace, allowing roots to grow deep before fruit is seen.
